Everything didn't start with a product, but with every rescue.
Initially, we never planned to build a pet brand.
Life simply unfolded through a series of chance encounters—one more cat, then one more dog. They came from different places, each carrying their own past. Some had wandered the streets for so long they were frail, flinching at any approaching hand. Others were given up by former families because of health issues. Some bore no visible wounds, yet spent their days hiding in corners, too afraid to eat or connect.
We prepared food for them, took them for medical checks, cleaned their wounds, and did our best to give them a quiet, warm home. At first, we thought the rescue was complete once a stray found shelter, food, and companionship.
But we soon realized it wasn’t that simple.
Physical wounds could be seen and gradually healed with treatment. Yet the deep-seated anxiety from prolonged wandering, hunger, competition, and abandonment didn’t simply vanish once they crossed our threshold.
Some cats would bolt and hide at the slightest sound. Some dogs grew visibly distressed whenever they lost sight of familiar faces. Some pets, haunted by past starvation, would gulp down food frantically, even stealing from others. Others would stare at a full bowl for ages, too hesitant to approach.
That’s when we truly understood:
Taking them in kept them out of danger, but understanding them is what helped them rebuild their lives.
And that became the very starting point of EVOTAILS.
